Fiber optics provide a soothing feel for your swimming pool and consist of two main components, the light source and the optic cable. The illuminator or light source, produces varying color of light automatically through a remote control. The absence of electrical current and heat of fiber cable inserts into the illuminator and the light travels the entire length of the cable. 

Since they do not require a niche, or light hoursing, they can be installed almost anywhere. They can run to underwater lenses, used in landscape lighting, outline pathways, run along stairs, the perimeter lighting or stars of your pool and spa.Increase the brightness of your swimming pool fiber optic lighting by adding more strands of cable. They really are user friendly and the results will be sure to amaze.

For pool perimeter light, we recommend you MSOF-42*1.0/SK from Mitsubishi brand or PSOF-8 from Mayki brand.

• PSOF-8 solid core side glow fiber cable with PVC cover, ideal for indoor using
• The light attenuation for Mitsubishi brand fiber cable is 0.2dB/m while Mayki brand is 0.25dB/m
• Light more that 25m of multi-strand fiber from Mitsubishi brand. Illuminate up to 80m by pumping the fiber from 2 sides.
• Light more than 15m of solid core fiber with neon like color. Illuminate up 45m by pumping the fiber from 2 sides.
• Solid core fiber cable is more flexible than Multi-strand fiber cable.
